Mediterranean-Style Homes in the Mckinney, Frisco, Allen Area

The inspiration of this blog post came from my clients who are relocating from L.A. to Texas …and look at me the same way my dog does when he hears a high-pitch noise every time I show them “another brick home” (no matter how beautiful and eloquent that home may be)…

SO…if you are relocating to Texas and are looking for Mediterranean -style homes, or trying to determine how to search for Mediterranean style homes, fear not.  While they are sparse and few, they ARE out there.  If an exemplary-rated school district in the suburbs of Dallas is important to you, I highly suggest searching homes in the Mckinney, Frisco or Allen areas.

What are the neighborhoods with Mediterranean and stucco-style homes?

A few great places to start would be:  Twin Creeks in Allen, or if  you want to search for homes in Mckinney:  Stone Creek Estates, The Reserve at Eldorado, Wellington Point, Kings Lake, Stonebridge Estates, Provine Farms (one of my personal favorites!), Estates at Craig Ranch, and if searching for homes in Frisco:  Shaddock Creek, Newman Village, Verde Village, LaTerra, Villages of Stonebriar, and of course, you will find some of the most-beautiful homes of the area in the gated community of Starwood.

  1. Are there any mediterranean homes under $350K? The only mediterranean homes available seem to be over $500K.

  2. We are in search for a Mediterranean homes in the Frisco school district under 500k and came across your blog. Is inventory pretty scarce in this area? Your help would be appreciated.

    • Hi Alison,
Inventory in general in this area is pretty scarce, and the niche product of Mediterranean-Style homes even more scarce. However, there are a few under the $500k mark in this area (especially if you are willing to expand out to possibly Mckinney, or even The Colony ((I have a listing there you may like if also wanting something with a view). I will send them to you. Feel free to reply back or give me a call at 214.901.1341 if I can be of further assistance.
